Etica și estetica postmodernismului

Abstract

The article proposes a mis-en-miroir of conflicting positions both of postmodernist and modernist theorists, and, on the other hand, inside the very postmodernist criticism and theory regarding the ethics and aesthetics of postmodernism. Can one talk of a postmodernist extension and transformation of the aesthetic in a dominant force, present in all the complex forms and multiple modalities both of contemporary life and postmodernist art, or about elitism and a certain distancing from society, the same as the one the modernists were criticized for?
